What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting? Sometimes these terms are used interchangeably, but they are not.
EPA Standard Definitions:
Clean- The process that physically removes debris from the area by scrubbing, washing and rinsing. It may be accomplished with soap or detergent and water.
Sanitize- Product that kills 99.9% germs identified on its label. Disinfect- Product that kills nearly 100% of germs identified on its label.
What is disinfectant fogging?
Fogging uses a fine mist to kill microorganisms and generates micro- particles (and possibly nano-particles) of disinfectant by spraying on to the surface
Disinfectants are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as pesticides. Approved disinfectants for Sars/CoV2 can be found on the EPA list here:

Touch Point Disinfection is a 2 step system of cleaning that focuses on high-traffic areas specifically “touch points”. Surfaces are first cleaned to remove soil, then sprayed with a hospital grade disinfectant (EPA N List), and left for the recommended dwell time before wiping clean.
A few examples of touch points are; light switches, tv remotes, faucets, door knobs, elevator buttons, door pulls, hand rails, and restroom door locks. These are considered high risk areas to come in contact with disease, viruses, and germs.
